Set up your email domain
To send emails to your merchants from your own domain, you authenticate a sending subdomain with three DNS records. mcamgr never touches your inbound mail (your MX records) - this only affects sending.
Why a subdomain?
We recommend a dedicated sending subdomain such as send.yourcompany.com. This
keeps your main domain's reputation and inbound email untouched, and keeps
authentication clean.
The three records
| Record | Purpose | | --- | --- | | SPF / Return-Path | Authorizes our mail servers to send for your subdomain and aligns bounce handling. | | DKIM | Cryptographically signs your mail so receivers can verify it wasn't forged. | | DMARC | Tells receivers what to do with mail that fails the checks, and where to send reports. |
How to add them
- In mcamgr, open Settings → Email domains and enter your sending domain.
- We'll show you the exact records to add. If your DNS provider is supported, you can click Configure automatically and approve the change - no copy and paste needed.
- Otherwise, copy each record into your DNS provider's dashboard.
- Click Verify. Propagation is usually minutes; once verified, the domain goes live for sending.
DMARC policy
Start with a monitoring policy and tighten it over time:
v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:dmarc@yourcompany.com
Once you've confirmed your mail passes, move p=none to p=quarantine and
eventually p=reject for the strongest protection.
