Setting up your company
The order below gets a new company from an empty tenant to a working funding desk. Each step links to the screen or the article that covers it in depth. Everything here needs an Admin sign-in.
1. Brand it
Settings → Branding: display name, logo (fills the sidebar width), square icon (used by the installable app), colours. Settings → Email styles previews the branded shell every outbound email uses. See Branding & email.
2. People and permissions
Users: invite staff by email (sign-in is passwordless), assign a role and a permission profile. Start from the Admin and Operator profiles and narrow them; every flag is enforced on the server. Teams group users for assignment rules. See Roles & permissions.
3. Pipeline and catalogues
Settings → Catalogs: the 11-status pipeline (rename, reorder, re-enable legacy statuses), stip types and the stip matrix (which documents each product and amount tier requires), decline reasons, merchant statuses, bounce codes. Settings → Workflow: assignment rules, status automations, submission templates. See Deals & pipeline.
4. Money rules
Settings → Fees & pricing (offer floors, application and wire fees, default surcharge), Settings → Renewals (eligibility thresholds), Settings → Payoff (early-payoff bands), Settings → Capital (syndication defaults), Settings → Statements (monthly merchant statements). The full key list is in the settings reference.
5. Documents and e-sign
Settings → Templates: contract, disclosure and letter templates with merge tokens; Settings → E-sign: signing certificate, reminders, expiry, packet defaults. See Document templates, Merge tokens and E-signature.
6. Email and intake
Settings → Email domains verifies a sending domain (Domain Connect or manual DNS) so mail leaves from your address. Settings → Mailboxes connects a shared Microsoft 365 mailbox for email intake (applications arriving by email become ISO + merchant + deal with the attachments filed); Settings → Intake tunes the triage rules. See Email domain setup.
7. Payments and partners
Integrations: enable your ACH processor, bank data, bureau, KYB and sanctions connectors; each has a Test button. Settings → Partners switches the ISO and referral portals on and sets the operating mode. See Integrations and ACH.
8. Automate and integrate
Settings → Alerts routes notifications to roles; Settings → Scheduled
jobs shows every automatic tick. Settings → API keys and Settings →
Webhooks open the API and webhooks to your
other systems. A hosted application form lives at /apply/<slug>.
9. Bring your book across
Settings → Import maps CSV exports from your previous system (merchants, contacts, deals, payments, ISOs, syndicators) with profiles for the common vendors, previews every row and commits in one run.
10. Go live checklist
- A test deal funded end to end in your sandbox (ask us to pair one).
- Backups scheduled and one restore rehearsed (platform team).
- Custom domain verified if you use one.
- Portals switched on only for the roles you invite.
